Worlds.com, 24/7 Media Sign Advertising/Marketing Agreement
Deal will provide 24/7 Media Clients Access to
Worlds.com for Advertising Space
New York, NY, July 5, 2000 – Worlds.com (OTC/BB: WDDD), the leading three dimensional (3D)
entertainment portal, today announced a sales and marketing agreement to have 24 /7 Media, one of the
largest global interactive marketing and technology solutions companies sell advertising on Worlds.com
entertainment portal and website pages.
Under the terms of the agreement, advertising and marketing clients of 24 /7 Media will be able to place
advertising on the Worlds.com 3D entertainment portal. 24/7 Media offers online advertising and direct
marketing networks solutions to companies worldwide
"Our 3D entertainment portal offers clients a way to reach out to a new set of consumers and businesses,"
said Steven G. Chrust, chairman of Worlds.com. "This partnership provides another revenue stream for
us. We believe it is the beginning of advertisers realizing the stickiness of our 3D site and the effectiveness
in reaching a certain range of consumers."
The initial placements from 24/ 7 Media has produced advertising from more than three dozen advertisers,
including Alta Vista, MSN Passport, Intuit, Quicken, NY Times Digital, Forbes, Money and Get Smart.
"We are pleased to be working with Worlds.com and providing our clients with access to the Worlds.com
3D portal," said Geoff Judge, Sr. VP Network Development Group, 24/ 7 Media. "We are extremely
gratified with the quick response of the market to this robust and interactive advertising environment."
Worlds.com offers visitors virtual, multi-user environments with streaming video and e-Commerce, among
other features. An entertainment portal with partners worldwide, Worlds.com has signed partnership
agreements with such firms as Freeserve and Powernet in the UK; Shinwon Telecom in South Korea and
e-NewMedia in the PanAsian market, and Road Runner’s Hang Channel in the United States. In addition
to its entertainment portal, Worlds.com has nearly three dozen e-Commerce stores and is the host for
YankeeWorld, the 3D home of the New York Yankees, and BowieWorld, the 3D site for David Bowie.
Worlds.com, a 3D entertainment portal, leverages its proprietary technology to offer visitors a network of
virtual, multi-user environments that have rich media graphics, text chat, voice-to-voice chat, streaming
video and e-commerce. The environments are focused around entertainment interests and targeted
communities such as music, sports, and general entertainment environments. In the Worlds’ Avatar
Gallery, visitors select an avatar (3D character), and customize it into a personal virtual representation of
themselves. The avatar is used to travel in and through the various virtual environments and participate in
interactive activities involving entertainment, promotions, or e-commerce. Avatars can chat with one
another, dance in a nightclub, e-shop, watch video clips and participate in other activities.
